secondary courses can be taught maximizing the teaching days and in the method and style of career and competitive examination. Thus began the story of Kalinga Bharati Residential College which is dedicated to bridge the gap between Teaching, Coaching and Tuition, in a Gurukul style with modern technique. My experiment with KBRC has started yielding result and i believe i have to go a long way to give complete shape to my dream project that remained close to my heart. I am grateful to parents and students of Orissa and neighboring states who pose their trust in my honest endeavor.

Education is a human endeavour in which the preceding generation attempts to develop the succeeding generation into an abler people and to equip it with better living a life of the intellect, the character and the soul. It must also impart initiation into a life of noble aspiration and sacred values.
If the function of education is to assist the evolution of man which is a movement towards perfection, people say KBRC is the right choice.
If the choice of the schools and colleges is one of sympathy, service, discipline, love, culture and fellowship, again people say KBRC is an underlined institution, which stands out the rest of its kind.
If the aim of education is to lift human beings above the narrow grooves of bigotry, |
crookedness, hypocrisy, fanaticism and selfishness, the KBRC is the sine qua non.
Since the college is a residential one and the students are under our care for 24 hrs, we teach them assiduously how to face the challenges in life after they leave four walls of the school/college. We assist them in their thinking "I CAN" being guided by the following lines.
Life's battles do not always go To the stronger or faster man out sooner or later the man who wins Is the man who thinks he can.
We seek the cooperation from the parents and well wishers of the institution to help us to transform their child from the rationality to divinity and from the ineptitude to a man of espirit de corps.

Education is a lofty vision of life and learning is a life long process. Recent years have witnessed great changes in the education system. Exposing students to learning situation is replacing the classical methodology of teaching, which is a didactic process. The courses should have relevance to the world in which we live and at the same time they should keep pace with the growth of knowledge in every discipline. It is rather unfortunate that in the state of Orissa +2 teaching is a still continuing in a large number of multi faculty colleges along with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as a sequel to this the students at +2 level do not get proper attention. The courses are not updated regularly nor the examination system has been revamped to replace the end of term examination by a method cutaneous evaluation. I am indeed happy to learn that Asha Memorial Trust and Padhee's Tutorial Pvt. Ltd. have established a college for the +2 Science students only. |

Which is a modern "Gurukul" named as "Kalinga Bharati Residential College". The college, with its well equipped laboratories, computers centre aims at offering regular +2 Science course as per the syllabi of the BSE along with tutorials for preparing the students to face various competitive examinations and vocational course as per the choice of the students. It has the vision to take all its students to the information highway by making them computer literate. It will focus on interactive learning and will extensively use multi media to fortify classroom teaching.
I am optimistic that this college will be of great help in enhancing the career prospects of our students. I wish the college all success and prosperity. |
